Bangs
I came to the conclusion that these days the fashion for hair is either middle part or full fringe. So seen as though I have a reasonably large forehead I'm gona go with the bangs :D

Success!
I've found my formal dress! Even though it is two and a half months away. But I did spot this dress on a fellow blogger's (Late Afternoon) site and thought to myself 'I would wear that dress to formal if I could find one like it' and I totally found pretty much the same one!!! I'm also excited that Mum bought me outdoor working lights from Bunnings that I can use as studio lights!!!! AND I'm on holidays (kinda) so I'm quite happy right now :)

Deadlines
What I do instead of meeting Deadlines:
I've decided that life is a deadline. Constant demands from people and not people. It seems that life is all about the task your given and how quickly you can finish it. Year 12 is possibly the most demanding deadline being if you don't do this...YOU'RE DEAD! Or at least you contract a psychosomatic illness in the process (as I've learnt in psychology). No-one in the world seems to understand that there is so much to do and so little time, and I'm serious sometimes the deadline is passed and tasks are left incomplete. I've had a headache everyday this week, just when I sit down at my large desk to complete the latest, never-ending task. Work has also proved to be a deadline. Customers stand at the counter and expect you to listen, understand and interpret every word and then execute their request within 1.3 seconds, giving evil stares if you fail to give them what they want when they want it! And there's those smaller deadlines, getting in and out of the shower before the next person, getting your licence, asking a relevant question, drinking alcohol and many MANY other things. In this perspective, it seems as if time travels a a much faster pace. Time I would much rather be spending in bed in the arms of the one I love. Sounds like a good idea doesn't it?

PUSHOVER
PUSHOVER FESTIVAL WAS MMMMAAAAAAAAAADDDD!!! Such great musicians! I met Coby Grant, danced to Yacht Club DJs, fell in love with The Sundance Kids and rocked out in the rain to Dash & Will! So much fun!!! And I REALLY REALLY WANT CHARLIE THORPE'S OUTFIT!! Sick as blazer, little black dress and massive fake eyelashes. I think I'll have to go internet shopping but I've never done that before :S where do I go? HELP PLEASE!!

Costumes
"I think of 6 impossible things before breakfast!"
I've begun my blog with pictured tonight, rather than a boring slab of writing before. I wish I had another Today Tonight issue to talk about but I don't. I'm not phased by anything right now. I'm content. Maybe because I've had a cold which has slowed me down a little bit this week. I woke up at 3.30am on Monday morning with an agonising throat and burning nostrils. Therefore I stayed at home and watched Bewitched (1964). I think it's a fabulous show and Montgomery is absolutely stunning! I just love to watch her! Over the past few weeks I've been to a Hawaiian themed sweet sixteenth and school swimming carnival (condor themed 'construction') as well as two art exhibitions at the national gallery of victoria (Ron Mueck and Ricky Swallow) and an excursion to see the Top Screen. Both of which have inspired me greatly. I can't wait to get stuck into my first art piece for school, once I decide on which way to do it hahaha. But for now I shall continue to relax and do some leisurely sketching which I haven't gotten around to for a while now. I'll be sure to post scans of them if they are good enough :D
By the way...TIM BURTON IS A FREAKIN GENIUS!!! Alice in Wonderland is a brilliant movie! (saw it in Gold Class woop woop!) ...and Pushover music festival tomorrow cross your fingers it won't rain!!

I haven't written in a while now, it's been so hectic with moving house. So I sit here now, listening to my brother's electric guitar playing seep through the cracked walls of my massive bedroom. My last post was my little vent, and now I'm happy to say that all school stuff has smoothed out :) I've gotten into the hang of things, settled into my new house (which is totally awesome!) and been on year 12 "study retreat". Rather than write a massive slab of text I will show you the last three weeks in photos. Happy viewing! [in order of events from bottom to top]

Broken
I'll begin this post positively by showing you a photo that I found by a Flickr member who calls her stuff 'LittleSilverBoxes'
So...school started on Monday, pretty cruisy only two classes and an assembly with year 7s. Tuesday...TAKE COVER!!! I felt under attack with bombardments of information, things that HAVE to be done and pressure from teachers. It didn't help that I started at 8am with a period 0 and had no study period throughout the day. After school was play rehearsals where over 30 kids sat in a stinking hot theatre talking about their contribution to the play and then go straight from the rehearsal finishing at 6.35 to dinner for Dad's birthday AAARRRGGGHHH!!!!! Needless to say, Wednesday I came home, turned on he fan, flopped on my bed and cried. The days and the information was heavy for a little girl like me with a EXTREMELY LOW STRESS CAPACITY! Once I'd begun my first piece of homework whilst wiping away the tears I settled. I woke up happy and calm today, cruising through classes a little easier. This, I believe, was because of the pep talk Nick gave me on the phone. He spoke about how it really isn't the end of he world, if I work myself too hard I'll burn out and if I keep talking about the negatives he'll split...but not really hahaha I believe that it was also the idea that very soon I'll get into a routine and things will run alot more smoothly.
Now that I've ramble ramble rambled I will leave you with two things. One: 8 sleeps until we move house (and two parties of which I will photograph my clothing). Two: a short passage from a book that I had to briefly analyse for Literature called Carnal Innocence - 'But it sure would be nice to have some space big enough for him to move without constantly bumping into things. His mind immediately leaped back to it's previous obsession. It'd be nice to have enough space for him and Caitlin both to do some maneuvering. "Damn."' ...HA!
