Merry

I'm sure many people will be feeling Merry after seeing the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show 2010/2011. Although I don't believe it is their best show yet (mainly due to Miranda's absence) it is still a spectacularly inspiring show. Love your work.

I WANT LIST #4: Christmas edition.

I haven't been really into the christmas spirit this year. I think it's because of the whole "finished high school forever" thing that's made me distracted. I think the major factor is that we are so exposed to this American idealistic view that it is supposed to be held in Winter...and it's so sunny and hot here! But I have been putting alot of thought into presents and such. Not just for myself haha but on that note I have put some thought into what I may ask Santa for this year :)

It has been a while blog world. And what a full-on few weeks it has been! Firstly I thought I must share with you some images from my Schoolies trip (an organised week of parties for those who have finished school). We travelled to Surfer's Paradise in QLD to enjoy our schoolies. The 8 of us enjoyed a day and a half of sunshine (before it became overcast), a trip to Wet'N'Wild and a hell of alot of dancing! There were plenty of ups and downs but it was overall a fun trip. Upon arrival back home it was rehearse, rehearse, REHEARSE! Presentation night went well where I sang 'I Know Where I've Been' for m last school performance. Then the next day I had an interview at RMIT University for the interior design course, which I found out today was a success. Everyday after that was practice for a wedding that a group of my fellow musicians were asked to perform at. All of this lead up to yesterday. The day that every final year high school student dreads...ATAR scores. Mine was not what I wanted, not what I needed. It seemed as if all of my efforts had gone to waste. But I was congratulated, sympathised and verbally slapped in the face to the realisation that I can't change it and in a year's time it won't even matter. And now I sit here with a blocked nose, scratchy throat and light head, reading, writing and viewing whilst the sun shines brightly within the clear sky. Bugger.
